We are the original owners of "Sabbatical."  She is extremely well equipped.  About the only thing she does not have is a radar antenna (although the chartplotter is "radar ready" should her new owner decide to install a radar antenna).  It seems that everyone who has a boat for sale tends to say that their boat is "like new." However, this one really is. Upon request, I can email or send out a CD with numerous additional photos.

This boat has been our primary hobby for 3 years and we have spared little expense in having her professionally maintained by the local Catalina dealer and the yard at our marina.  I believe that the dealer and the local yard manager would be happy to answer questions about the service Sabbatical has received.  We also have all maintenance receipts available for inspection.

We took delivery in March 2005 and have used the boat mostly on weekends and on occasional longer vacations.  She has been hauled and stored on the hard each winter.  Prior to purchasing Sabbatical, we owned a Catalina 36 mkII which we purchased new in 2001.  Our son is now a teenager and is starting to lose interest in sailing.  Also, my wife and I have recently developed interest in other hobbies (cycling and exercise). We suspect that we will not use Sabbatical enough while my son is in high school to justify continuing to own her.  Consequently, we are reluctantly placing her on the market.

Sabbatical is available for inspection by appointment in the Deltaville, VA area.
